    yes he knowingly lied but all the time he was "employed" by the club he was "earning" his salary irrespective of how much.
    Of course he strung this girl out, he was probably advised to do so by his legal team in the hope that she would bottle it and pull out at the last minute :emoticon-0136-giggl.
