The good news is that all the early talk of Silva being snapped up by a top 4 team next season is looking unlikely.
The bad news is Paul Merson is probably preparing a rant about he was right about Silva not knowing about the PL.
More good news is, technically we are 1 point ahead of where most people said we'd be after the Leicester game. It was 0 points v Chelski, Arse, Utd & Liverpool, 3 v Burnley & we'd be happy with a point at Lichester.
Bad news is we've wasted the points we got against Utd & Liverpool.
More bad news, after we beat Utd & Liverpool most expected us to beat Burnley & Lichester, so now we are 5 points worse off than people said.
Really bad news is, if we **** up v Swansea this week, the towel will be pretty much thrown in.
Some good news, if we get a win, really only a win will do, we'll be back to being favourites to stay up.
After seeing highlights of Swansea v Burnley on Saturday, it's looking like this weeks real battle will be the battle of the long black coats on the touch line, Silva v Clement, who wears it best.

I thought it was Sunblest - anyway - bloody driver fell asleep and we had to wait 15 minutes after the final whistle - there must have been at least 100 Palace - as soon as we got on the van the coppers ****ed off!!
Hey Charon do not know which one you are and trying to remember all who went , I know all the Hessle ones as I am from there , the others could be an Aerosnooze lad from Alliance ave / De la Pole?, a lad from Anlaby who also worked there , or Wayne P from Gipsyville, i know the driver was Conrad and yes if he hadn't fallen asleep we would not have been under serious threat outside the ground for as long ! I think the Palace fans laughed their heads off when we ran across road to the van , they probably thought it was a Hull bus!
Cheers

People say that about the Liverpool game, but considering we've done very well at home against them recently I disagree. Arsenal on the other hand, the players we have normally seem to be quaking in fear of them and it proved so again, the first half giving the ball away at whim.

I don't think the last 3 teams we've played have been that good, but we made them look good, that's the worrying thing.

In big games in the top tier we've rarely had players how can actually put in the performance needed, we'll see if that finally changes.

Silva does. Clement just looks like an undertaker and he has the face for it.

was April '74 - we got them relegated beating them 2 0 - I hitched down on the Friday and with the help of a bottle of Clan Dew slept on Euston overnight - I met up at the ground with some of the guys from Hessle who I knew from City and elsewhere and got a lift back on the van

How much longer... can this argument go on for?
There are 22 loans. 4 players appear twice making 18 different players loaned in 22 loans.

Don't think it was ever an argument mate, OLM said they had 22 players on loan, and then posted the list, and I clarified it was 22 loans not 22 players, that was it.
