I can very confidently see into the future regarding our game against Oxford, so to me it is already in the past
I have a T-shirt with “ I don’t need the internet- my wife knows everything “ written on it , I’ll have to get a new one printed
Anyone want to revise their prediction ? 30 points from 27 games so far, so averaging 1.1 points per game. 46 x 1.1 = 51 I won’t post other’s predictions but I think my 61, although closest, is somewhat optimistic. I must learn to be more negative.
Now 30 points from 28 - average 1.07 per game 46 x 1.07 = 49 Ok, so we’ll say I won the first round…….but it’s time for your updated predictions please I’ll start by revising my original 61 to 46
I think Charlton will struggle to reach 50 points now. We have 18 league games left. To gain another 20 points we will need 6 wins and 2 draws, or 5 wins and 5 draws. Can anybody really see Charlton winning 5 of our next 18 games? Or more to the point, not losing 10 of them? My latest guess is 49 points. No idea if that will be enough to avoid relegation.
Take Apples out of the equation and we should be able to accumulate enough points to reach 50. It doesn't need to be a Brian Cloughie, just someone sensible who can pick a balanced team and make obvious substitutions. We can't get another manager as bad as Apples,............................can we?
Teams have stayed up with fewer points, others gone down with more. It will be a coin toss if we finish on 46.
It beggars belief that we're even talking about this. If we lose our next game we will be 6 points worse off after 29 games than ever before in the 3rd tier. Literally in freefall. Even the awful crap we had to sit through under Russell Slade is well beyond our capability now. Those directors at the Valley should be getting dogs abuse at every home game. But I expect there is no fight left in the few thousand fans who attend now.
Penguin original 69 now down to 50 (-19) Lardi original 64 now down to 49 (-15) Ubedizzy original 61 now down to 46 (-15) Any more ?
