I don't think any clubs would have made a big push for him in the summer. I assume that the board believed in him, and wanted to tie him for for the long run. It wasn't too long ago he was being linked to jobs like Everton and Swansea etc. A lot dipped very quickly since those days though.

AN wont do the right thing and leave because of his self belief, and his feeling that walking away is failure. I don't think he would have pushed for a 2M bonus for getting us relegated. I don't think he's that vindictive.

But why the hell would anyone of sound mind reward incompetence and failure, resulting in abject relegation with hardly a whimper (0-3 vs Sunderland, anybody? <doh>) offer somebody an extra £2m to stay put?
He'd just relegated your ****ing club, Balls-up, not got it promoted!! <grr> :emoticon-0181-fubar :steam:

The worse decisions Alex makes the closer he gets to his £2m reward it all makes sense now .
That's why Ruddy and Bassong have been brought back and every time Aloevera scores he gets pulled off.
He will start turning up to work with no trousers soon and the board still won't budge.

I heard he pinched Delia's A*se, and her and her husband just had to pretend that nothing had happened!!

...Although that was before Delia signed off on a £2M relegation bonus.............:emoticon-0114-dull:

You could be onto something there.
I mean, apart from giving the executive box two fingers, (ner, ner you can't [afford to] sack me) what other purpose does starting with Bassong, Bennett and Tettey serve?
Apart from donating a point or three to your opponents <doh>

edit - by the way, my little Krispy Kreme, it's 'worst'.
Worst is of many, Worse is of two only <ok> ;) :emoticon-0109-kiss:

We could spend £2mill getting rid of the manager
But then we couldn't afford to buy another Spanish winger who NEVER plays?

Surely that is a win, win situation? AN is gone, and the marginalised players are re-integrated, WTF has Pritchard done to be completely ignored.

Alex Neil: "Graham Dorrans has damaged his medial ligament.
He'll be out for a while. Louis Thompson won't make the game either." #ncfc

In other news, both Ed Ballsup and Jez Poxey have done serious damage
to their media ligaments this week by saying / doing dumbass things <doh>

Yet there are still one or two on here (and out there) who warn us that foreign ownership
is the first step on the road to doom, gloom and destruction <yikes>
I don't know so much, the current shower are making a pretty decent fist out of ripping
the entrails out of their (and our <grr>) club! :emoticon-0106-cryin
