“I brought (Ross) Stewart off because I knew the scores elsewhere. He’s literally (our only striker)…I don’t need to say anything else, do I?” Neil said after the game, as quoted by the Northern Echo, which suggests that Broadhead will be unavailable for the key fixtures.
1/10 for the matchday thread![]()
I don’t think he’ll play for us again
Being assessed today.
My guess is that Neil will play it cagey in the semi-finals anyway and play one up front with wing backs.
Broadhead would play in the final and will hopefully be fit.
If he's totally ruled out we need to forget about it and trust in the system imo.

Pushing up the ante, I know you gotta see me
Read 'em and weep, the dead man's hand again
I see it in your eyes, take one look and die
The only thing you see, you know it's gonna be the Ace of Spades

I have a funny feeling Alex Neil is playing his cards close to his chest and we might get a nice surprise when the team is announced at 18.45 on Friday.Probably miss Friday. Good Job we have Ross and Def....... oh wait, we haven't.
Thanks, video taken from this article...Have a like for that.
First appearance as a 4 piece that....Phil Campbells First appearance.
Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons are on at the Cluny next Tuesday, playing a Motorhead set.
I was at the match and Broadhead never pulled up like you see with a hamstring injury.I have a funny feeling Alex Neil is playing his cards close to his chest and we might get a nice surprise when the team is announced at 18.45 on Friday.
Probably just wishful thinking but we live in hope
Wasnt he a doubt in the build up to the game? Maybe it was a case of they thought he would be ok but then wasnt. Fingers crossed he is fine for Fruday.I was at the match and Broadhead never pulled up like you see with a hamstring injury.
He was running ok then he just sat down when the game was stopped elsewhere.
The Ref had a word with him and he got up and carried on for less than a minute then sat back down.
The physio came on and had a quick word with him and he walked off unaided and no limp.
I said at the time that he appeared unwell and never thought for a minute that he was actually injured.
Time will tell.
I watched a video clip on social media last night, he was at the Everton game on Sunday and someone asked him if he was going to be fit to play, he sounded embarrassed and muttered that he doesn't know and that he had to see someone tomorrow (Monday). It didn't sound convincing to me but as I said it's probably my wishful thinkingI was at the match and Broadhead never pulled up like you see with a hamstring injury.
