Kyle Naughton and Richie De Laet aren't there to improve the team, but to improve the players before they return to their home clubs...

In their short stay, they'll improve the team. Like Lansbury and Pachecho last season. I would say they helped us miss the playoffs and head straight up.

And promptly left when the final whistle was blown, leaving a gap in the squad that needed to be filled, either permanently or temporarily. Which is why I say loans don't count, unless they're in a view to a permanent signing (which Naughton or De Laet won't be, just as Lansbury and Pachecho weren't)

Well, in the short term I believe these two are a good idea. I agree that when you go mad with loans (see Glenn Roeder [relegation to league 1]) you do get problems. At least if Norwich do go down, we wont have to pay the wages of two we could've bought.

In the end, they both want to show their parent clubs what they can do, so they should try their best.
