Why does the OP even care?

Let me guess it's against his human rights?

Poor Modric acting a slave to Tottenham Hotspur, I feel so sorry for the boy earning £70k a week.

you spurs fans are sooooooooooooooooo sad,you think you have been in champs league for one season and you think you have the god dahm right to be in it again and again.well let me tell you that you are gonna bomb down the league this season.all i wanted to do was discuss the fact that a player wanted to leave, and you couldnt even do that, well you deserve what you are gonna get and that is nowt.

Gonner in peace, i do kinda sympathise for you guys on this front, Im with Harry on this one. Modric is a contracted player, hand in all the requests you want but as long as the clubs pays your wages sonny thats where youll be staying. How likely is it do you think that he will go to chelsea in this transfer window?

Guess you didn't find much sympathy with your point of view. Do you think your ill-considered article is about something we haven't talked about endlessly? Bring something new next time, or stay with the rest of Historypool mob on your own board. If you are anything to go by, the debate will be a lot less taxing over there.

It is the only thing that seems on the agenda these days, I'm not the only one bored with it mate. Sorry for being a little OTT.

Like i said i can sympathise, guess you can understand why we gooners get right pissed off with the whole fabregas thing, we have had this for the last 2 seasons, i do hope you guys keep a hold of him though, would hate to see him at chelsea

We are all bored with it and there are plenty of Modric threads already.

And then to say - you spurs fans are sooooooooooooooooo sad,you think you have been in champs league for one season and you think you have the god dahm right to be in it again and again.well let me tell you that you are gonna bomb down the league this season.all i wanted to do was discuss the fact that a player wanted to leave, and you couldnt even do that, well you deserve what you are gonna get and that is nowt.

What do you expect us to say to you?

kinghotspur,
yea ok point taken,i only said that because i felt i was being get at (fair enough tho).
what i dont like is people saying to me historyapool,i myself dont go on about our history never have never will, but if you look i did post a thread on the arsenal board regarding nasri and fabregas on about the same thing.
i myself am very happy that the prem is getting stronger and stonger with the likes of spurs and other teams fighting it out for the top 4 places,it can only make our league get stronger.
but again sorry for touching a nerve with you guys,i only wanted to start a debate.

Posters that genuinley want to debate with Spurs fans about Modric would look for an existing article to share their opinion on. You've decided not to and made your own attention seeking one, inwhich you state that we have to sell him. You've also called us sad and proceeded to rant at the club saying that we're going to plummet down the table. You created the article with an negative agenda and you've now shown it so don't tell me you're not a WUM.

I think he just meant to say that it would be in our best interests to sell him, SF.

you have not been on this forum very long have you?

I don't think that he had a good point, but most fans of other teams don't really understand the position that we're in, as it's a fairly unique one, SF.

We've got money, but it's significantly less than Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and now Citeh, so we're in a better position than a lot of teams, but always susceptible to losing our better players.
The disruption that it causes does more damage than the actual loss of the player and it normally means that we lose more than just our best one, as others seek to follow them out.

Other clubs normally have somewhere to go, as they can sell their top stars, regroup and then push on, but we're stuck.
We're competing against the same teams all of the time (excluding Citeh) and we can't pay the same money that they can.
