Not been here for a while so thought I would drop in and say hello - but no-one home it seems - my you do keep the place looking tidy :)

Its good - had our first rain for over 4 weeks - garden needed it - and we went out for a walk before it started - how about you - did you get that cancellation?

No - been cloudy today - but the last 6 or 7 weeks have been amazing - I have got so much done outside - we only moved here a year ago and there was a lot of things we wanted to do.

H- long story really. Mrs L and I were actually looking to move to the Limoges region of France. She then had a heart attack and our French was not good enough to cover "defibrulator" etc - and we would have found health insurance prohibitive.

So we started to look around Britain and took a number of short breaks while contacting their local estate agents- Somerset, Devon, Dorset, Norfolk, Yorkshire etc. We were planning a jaunt to South Wales when I saw an advert "Be on a Show" - I applied not thinking anything would come of it but we got invited onto "Escape to the Country" and they took us to the Carmarthen area. We did not think they would find us what we wanted so I was ready to contact estate agents after the filming - but in fact they showed us a property we both fell in love with - and bought it :)
So if you ever happen to see that they are showing a couple from Watford moving to Carmarthen with NIcky Campbell hosting - it is us - show was first shown in April 2010 - and we had already lived here for 3 months !!

When we start servicing a clients aircraft , you cant start work on the aircraft until some documentation changes hands , like insurance certificates , clients wish list any mandatory manufacturers updates etc it takes a while !
