Good luck to him if he goes there. Personally I believe he is making a mistake - if he does leave a season with cannon fodder in the EPL would be better for him - if he impresses he can then move onto another cannon fodder team...like Steven Fletcher etc
England arent that blessed with good strikers either IMO. A season in the championship wont help him maybe squeeze into the squad
Deal is likely to be between £4m to £4.5m i guess? IN addition to £12.5m for Wanyama and the CL money, plus the saving on wages of Hooper, Wanyama and the others who have left surely we can push the boat out and get 1 or 2 £2m-£3m players? A striker and a creative midfielder for me.
Worrying also that rather than simply say Lawell told Notts Forest to do one, he said they'll have to make a significantly better offer. I appreciate everyone has a price, but our best performing centre half with 2 years left on his contract should be a no brainer to keep next season at least...not like we need the cash
