Did the home fans turn on Bowyer or the players today?

At least we had a go in the second half after Lapslie and Williams came off, and could have won it with better finishing, but none of the chances fell to Taylor, who had to go out wide to get the ball. Bonne should have buried a header in stoppage time. I don't know what has happened to Williams, he really was very poor, and was lucky to last as long as he did. Oshilaja and Pearce defended quite solidly after the first five minutes, when we could have conceded twice, out problems were in midfield IMO, although Cullen was blameless in this regard.

How s××× was that?

I still blame the failures of today on Roland, rather than anything else. Poor investment in the squad and overachieving over last season has put us in this position.

Irrespective of what you think, ESI or not, this is 1000% the rats fault we are here.

Not going to lose hope, same happened to Standard and they've eventually bounced back under better ownership.

Seriously hope this is a case of taking a step back to move forward exponentially.

2 points below the line now.

Our only hope of salvation is that Hull City continue to perform worse than us, and we eventually bob back up to 21st place by default.
That is also assuming Barnsley or Luton don't put a few wins together.

What a wasted season, after such a promising start.
14 points from our first 6 games.
And only another 25 from our next 31 games. Shocking relegation form.

If not for that amazing start Charlton would already be cut adrift in 24th place.

There was some booing, yes.

The tactics were all wrong from the start.

We should be setting up to win, not looking for a 0-0 at home.

Put simply though, the vast majority of these players are not good enough.

Neither is the manager; get rid of him asap. Just seen the highlights(?) The referee was standing yards away from the goal while Taylor was visibly being held in the box by a Boro player; certain penalty, and he just walks away. Also, never a yellow card for simulation by Taylor; watched it several times, and Taylor was brought down, second penalty ignored.

Not that this matters now, we will be in the third tier again next year. Impossible to get out of it at this stage.
