I did mine through the post office , can’t remember exactly how long it took , but it wasn’t 8 weeks . It was quieter then , so it has probably changed for the worse .

Convenient way of doing it though .

Tell you what I had forgot to do until today was what I use to know as E111 - My EU one had expired in June 2021. Although last time I had emergency care abroad they stuck me straight in private anyway through the travel insurance.

I'm off to the isle of man for a week end of July for a cousins wedding if that counts as a holiday.

Got some fishing on my uncle's boat planned.

Probably just get drunk the rest of the time cos theres **** all there to go see.

£50 per person for a PCR test. £200 for 4 of us. Fck off!

Going away next week so decided to pay £20 for 24 hr AIDS test instead, which is a piss-take as well.

I didn't have a booster so apparently not fully vaccinated <doh>

Off to Spain. Little trek from Alhambra to Barcelona.

Check up on De Jong, call him a **** while I'm at it <laugh>

Defo look into it. The PCR test has to be done within 72 hours so it's a tight timeframe and they're just ripping you off imo. £49 is the cheapest I can find.

The antigen test is within 24 hours of arriving at destination so decided to do that. Fingers crossed no one's positive

Is that a supervised LFT on a video call?

No going to a centre to have it done the afternoon before we fly. You get the results by email in 2 hours.
We did a video call test with project screen a couple of months ago. Really easy tbf. Got the results within an hour.
I’d STRONGLY recommend you do it by video call if you can mate. Leaves a lot more room for manoeuvre if you get me?

Got back from Spain 2 weeks ago and they didn’t ask for anything when we landed. Had some people giving out vaccines when you walked through customs but that was it

Just had a quick look. Doesn’t look like you need to do an observed test for Spain.
LFT at home. Happy days :emoticon-0150-hands

Serious? This aint a wind up. We get there and end up in quarantine for 2 weeks? <laugh>

You read that Spanish site with all the registration and form filling per person and it looks extreme tbh.

I was fine as had my last vaccine within the last 270 days time period so had the covid passport on my phone but nobody was checking when we arrived. Just walked through and showed passport like pre Covid days.

This was the 6am Friday flight to Alicante though so maybe they couldn’t be arsed with the hassle of people telling them to **** off
