Yes also going through the Swiss pass as the Mount Blanc tunnel sounds a terrible journey.

Keep us up to date with this trip when you have the chance, I'm so looking forward to it. Lecce looks amazing we're staying there for 4 days.

Scenery either side of the tunnel is stunning but some of the queues we saw to go through were mental, we went early morning and it was still 45 minutes before getting into the tunnel.
Swiss pass will be awesome

Yeah I'm not sure why a 2-3 day drive seems more appealing than a 2-3 hour flight.

I cba to drive to Newcastle even.

Because you can't get your holiday paid for flying, get back to Calais sneak one in the boot, £5k. Free month away :bandit:

9.15am 34° already, forecast to hit 40° later. Off to find some shade

Hope that answers your query bro

Yeah but you could fly and hire init.

I drove through the atlas mountains earlier this year which was incredible. Wouldn't have fancied driving all the way to Morocco though.

Door to door a 2-3 hour flight takes about 12 hours.

Maybe for people who don't live less than 90 minutes from Gatwick and Heathrow.

Door to door for Marrakech took me about 7 hours. But I could sit and chill most of that which is preferable to driving.

And that would have been even less if the queue for passport control their end wasn't 90 mins long due to it being the weekend after Eid.

Yeah of it all goes well then not so bad but maybe Wynne been unlucky lately as it seems there's always a delay. I hate the whole airport process. Deffo going to drive for a few years.

Yeah delays are always awful and make it worse admittedly. I always fly out on a really early flight as feels less likely to be issues and the roads are clear on the way up.

Just realised I've blatantly jinxed myself for Friday now :emoticon-0107-sweat

You driving up? Will take forever. Even our ****, expensive, unreliable train service beats doing the 50 zones on motorways and having to undertake Edna in the middle lane in her old Volvo.

Oh mis-read. Flight will be fine internally.
