**** knows about Bale, everybody knows who Rooney is though. We have the biggest fan base in the world, it's no surprise really that Rooney is so well known.
... Bale will for many be the best player at the Euros ... he can for one thing do all of those things that Beckham couldn't ... :)

I've never really understood the 'Brand Beckham' thing. He's just an ordinary bloke who was a fairly good footballer.

Let's say that Cattermole went to the Euro's and ended up player of the tournament, scoring a hat trick in the final. Next thing he marries a PR guru and is never out of the news or off our screens. Does that mean I'm going to buy L'eau de Cattermole aftershave or wear a t-shirt to a bar with 'Cattermole' written on it? Does it bollocks.

Lallana man.

A ****ing shoe in for literally doing absolutely nothing.

**** sake.

Townsend should have been a cert, we lack left sided players, we lack players who run pay people, we lack people who can shoot from range.

Hodgson is yet another big club dickhead, fooling nobody by mixing the squad up for friendlies then reverting to type.

I think Townsend is a bit unlucky I would have had him in instead of Stirling

They're both unlucky, but neither should be near the first 11 and that's what matters to me.

We are going in with our strongest squad, without injuries to any of the first 11.

I'd take Sterling for pace alone, he can be a world beater on his day.

I'd not start him though, I worry owl face will, regardless.

I actually thought he played well at SoL last week, props where they're due, but he's a **** arse nonetheless, I wonder if his mummy will be on the flight, to tuck him in at night.

Stirling ffs, Wiltshire ffs, Wiltshire hasn't played a full 90 minutes for months, how does he get in in place of Drinkwater just beggars belief, Roy picking his favourites again and don't get me started on sick note Sturridge. Has Roy got an agreement with the other teams in our group not too tackle his players very hard, I f..king hope so.

I didn't know this.

Reus in an incredible player he'd be first name on our team sheet.

As long as he played for a certain club of course.

He might end up playing for that club, given who their manager is.

Not fit apparently, a bit like Sturridge only, droppable.
