Local French people are selling boats to traffickers, saying they've been stolen and claiming the insurance.

I have a mate in Dover customs who says that they've stopped people taking tired old boats to Calais but are powerless to seize them.

He also reckons the boats that arrive in the UK appear for sale at auctions ffs.

The French set up 'transit camps' close to the coastline to tempt illegals to get to the UK.

No idea why we're just sitting back and doing nothing.

Perhaps these charities should get a grip and ask France, and all the other countries they pass through, why they don't give them asylum.

Giving them safe passage would attract thousands more and make the criminals even wealthier.

Clare Moseley, the founder of charity Care4Calais, said,

“Now more than ever, we need to give people a safe and humane way to have their requests for asylum fairly heard,” she said. “That’s the way to end chaotic and dangerous channel crossings once and for all.”
