I think I have made it pretty clear, he is a mouthpiece for Arsenal. As he has inside info I also believe that he is instructed to talk nonsense to make the fans happy and give them the notion that "we tried" which is pretty much what Arsenal have told us for the last 2 Summers in particular.

I'm prepared to give Wenger til the end of the Transfer Window. He has money, he's run out of excuses.

I very much wanted him out in January. He changed his ways, I changed my mind. If there are no signings revealed by August 1st I'll be in grave danger of wanting him to leave again.

The time for talk is over. The time for action is now.

So we were looking at the possibility of all 3 of them leaving but had no interest in signing any of them? Ok then.

I wouldn't quite say 'ran out of excuses', but of all the transfer windows in recent times this is the one where he can make the biggest statement of intent. It'll be severely disappointing if he doesn't capitalise. As you say though, judgement should be reserved until the window closes.

You've changed what you said now. First you said that he said we were after Mata, Oscar and Ramires, implying that Arsenal are ready to make a massive swoop and buy all 3 of them, when in fact, all that Tweet meant was that Arsene Wenger is monitoring that situation. There's a lot of rumours around that Mourinho doesn't want them so it would make sense that when one player that Arsene Wenger adores becomes available that he would watch that situation closely. You're taking what he's saying way out of context.

What a nice contradicting post from yourself. Accusing me of taking tweets out of context whilst in the same comment you take my comment out of context. When did I say we were going to swoop in and buy all 3 of them? In fact when did the term "after *insert player name*" ever equate to 'swooping in'?

That to me means that we are actively trying to sign all 3 of them.

The same thing that happens every year. Fans go mental, calls for Wenger and/or the board's heads. Very angry toned AGM in which the fans are fed more lies followed by a season of struggle where we end up finishing 4th and assure the fans that next Summer will be different and we will show why we are the 'most ambitious club in the world'.
