I sometimes notice a slight shortage in one or two items like 3 years ago there was a shortage of lettuce for a week but the constant Guardian scare stories are just bollocks. The start of Covid - there were shortages, no fruit, veg, chicken, bread, eggs, milk, rice, pasta, soap. It was crazy but you could still fill your trolley with food: cans, frozen.
