We see the same on every high street in every town and we blame our own councils for the corrupt and shambolic way in which they go about their own business. The fact that someone is blaming Hull City Council for what he sees as their incompetence,in no way points to him blaming my Council for their incompetence.

The blame lays fair and square with those who shop online and don't use their local shops. As to what to do now, no idea the genie is out of the bottle and the bottle has been broken.

Please try and stick to the specifics of the topic, not general political posts about capitalism and tax avoidance etc, or the comments will be removed. Ta.

Hi would you like to explain to me why a topic cannot be expanded to include other causes or influences for a situatiobwinf discussed . Please read this in a positive way but it is a forum are there rules in this regard I should read. You know until recently I have not posted much but what I find surprising is people can call me all sorts of names and throw insults instead of properly discussing the topic . You will not I don’t resort to the same petty behaviour it does seem at odds . This is not a critiscism I genuinely am now confused .
    thanks

We have a no politics/no religion rule on this board, we give some leeway with regard to topics that involve football and Hull, as long as the comments remain specific to the topic and don't stray into general political views.

    Just read that, great stuff.

edit: Also good to see a business going online without giving up it's high street presence.

Sorry to put a dampener on it, but advertising in the paper how much he's pulling in is asking to get burgled.
    But good luck to him.

I don't think criminals evaluate turnover when they're looking for a target! If they expect the £1m to be sitting in the till every month they'll be disappointed!

It would appear your travels all over this country and northern Europe weren't too comprehensive, and excluded the short trip to Cottonopolis shown below in all its gory, emmm glory. :emoticon-0100-smile

Bury New Road was my stamping ground every Sunday for over 20 years. Its not for the feint hearted today. Strangeways Prison is just to the left of this clip. I stopped visiting six years ago because the place was too dangerous and nearly all my original suppliers had moved out. I had my van robbed there, witnessed an armed robbery and was told by the robbers waving pick axe handles to stay in my van. I was once locked in a warehouse by the owner whilst someone outside with a gun was trying to kick the door in. I was rolled in a pub and only managed to get most of my money back because I re- entered the pub with one of the lump hammers I had just bought and were in my van outside. Stupid thing to do but...
Manchester Police actually visited me at home in Hull and told me to change by schedule/times of visiting etc because I was known to the local villains and they knew I was there stock buying etc. They also wanted to know why I was such a frequent visitor because my van had been picked up on cctv in a certain area at the same time every Sunday. I was actually waiting for a warehouse to open.
This area has changed beyond all recognition over the years and on my last visit I didn't feel safe walking the streets alone. It is a very dodgy area. I had to remind myself that I was actually in Manchester.

He's a 24k gold plated fruit loop, don't bother with his other videos as he seems to be on the very edge of a nervous breakdown.
