I'll admit, I've been known to make a few Heskey jokes but Fryatt plays a lot better with a big strong target man playing beside him, Heskey fits the description. Yes Heskey won't score a load of goals but he will be able to set them up for Fryatt.
 
Heskey is a very useful player and has been given a tough time for years by the type of football fan that thought ashbee was useless contrary to what countless well respected managers think. He shouldn't even be considering dropping to the championship and for a hull city fan to turn his/her nose up is ridiculous!
 
Seeing we've now been identified as a buying club we'll be linked with a lot of players during the next week.
We'll just have to keep speculating, we've had plenty of practice lately.
 
I think both Friatt or McLean would score a bagful if they had Heskey holding up and supplying them.

Can't believe the number of us on here that can't see past Heskey's goal tally. It's a team game!

Why is this always stated as fact? How often have we seen it at City? One half of a league game with Adebola?
 
Talking of target men, if only marlon king didn't have the past he does as I'd have loved him back here. Was great at holding up he ball and scored aswell.
 
I still cant still Heskey signing for you

If he did though you would need to back it up with other players who can score goals as Heskey wouldnt be the answer to you goal problem. Apart from Fryatt and Koren i dont think anyone actually scored a decent amount of goals for you. If you back him up then he would be a great signing

He would be perfect for us with Nugent, King, Waghorn, Gallagher, Vardy, Marshall and Beckford all on the books who know where the goal is. Heskey would create chances for them

my mate just text me saying Owen and Heskey to sign next week . I can defo see Heskey but Owen as well would be amazing, and yes owen did say that about Heskey, a great provider of the ball

Beckford will leave if we can find a buyer. Drinkwater wont get you that many goals. The only player you could really add to that list is Lloyd Dyer


Heskey would create for them. Why would having people like Marshall and King stop us from getting Heskey. There both midfielders

I think heskey is class and hes gt a record to back it, imsgine heskey n fryat upfront, theyd rip defenses apart in chsmpionship, perfect partner 4 matty
