On Sunday I'm running the London Marathon and raising funds for Cancer Research UK, I'm appealing for fellow City fans to sponsor me to support the fantastic work this charity does in the battle to beat cancer.
Having lost both of my parents to cancer in the last 5 years I'm running the marathon in memory of my mum and dad - my dad took me to my first City match in 1980 when I was 8, I was lucky enough to be able to repay him by taking him to his last City match, the FA Cup Final.
I would be really grateful for any sponsorship to support a cause very close to my heart.

Thanks for the sponsorship! Up to now I've raised just over £1500 and I'm so very grateful for all donations.
If you're watching the marathon this morning I'm number 6846 and I don't think that's my expected finishing position, they've put me in with the deep sea divers, minions and wombles at the back.
