Saints -

It's the off season, so I wonder if I can very cheekily and quickly ask for your help on something!

IT'S AN LTL CALL TO ACTION!!

As you may or may not have seen/heard, there's rather a lot of good stuff happening around Fable (who I manage) at the moment. Her new single, Onion Brain, is out on June 17th, and it would REALLY HELP me/us/it if you would be brilliant and pre-save the track (particularly if you use Spotify).

You can do so at this link - https://lnk.to/OnionBrain

THANK YOU VERY MUCH INDEED!

Apparently if you do this, then Nick Pope will join us...

Can you run to Liam Delap as well?

Edit: Pre-saved on Spotify<ok>

My forays into music-based technology stopped at vinyl and cassette. I dipped my toes into the CD ocean, but I'm afraid that obtaining/listening to music via my computer thingy is (currently) a closed door. There is almost certainly an Aladdin's cave of treasures, should I try to discover them, but I haven't done so yet.

Having said all this, have you put this message out more widely into the 606 community, in other words, to fans of other teams? It can do no harm.

Right, I'll get back to my quill and parchment...

As someone who listened to far too much Daughter and London Grammar over the past couple years, Fable is already well within my wheelhouse, so I'm happy to feel like I'm actually doing something.

Many thanks (and you'll like this new one in that case!)

Oh it's an Aladdin's Cave alright. Whether that's a good thing or not for the industry and the quality/curation of music is another question (clue: it's not).

Even with all the streaming music options, my best (and basically only successful) music discovery route online remains...mindlessly flipping through the videos on the Youtube channel of KEXP, which is Seattle's public radio affiliate, until I find something I like. 90%+ isn't to my taste. That still represents a far better hit rate than I've encountered through algorithmic music discovery, which either feeds me the exact same thing over and over, or completely nonsensical choices.
