Sorry to hear about that, the scans are hopefully precautionary and it'll come to nothing. My grandad died of cancer a couple of years ago, but he kept strong and happy till the end; he knew when it was time to go and lived his last months surrounded by his family. Even if the worst comes to the worst, I know plenty of people who've had cancer and pulled through, I'm praying that it'll be fine for he both of you.

Cheers eveyoone.

She's staying at her mams tonight.

Me being a natural pessimist, well, you know.

Thank you all, it's probs nowt anyhow (praying).

I wish she was here now with me so I could tell her how I feel.

Also, Jane is braver than me.

Remember it's only for tests marra so it might not be as bad as you think...Good luck to the pair of you and my thoughts are with you..

Yes I know that marra. I'm weak as piss me like.

Don't know how Joe copes.

OK, 2 songs. soft as ****e I know but it says it all.

Aerosmith- Don't wanna miss a thing.

Listen to the lyrics, says all about how I feel about Janie.

You see, this is what happens when you get mixed up wi a mag lass.

Fall in love, blah blah.

Crying my ****ing eyes out cos she's not here.

Billy we're all crossing everything, saying prayers and sending vibes all over the place on yours and Janies behalf. As has already been said you are at the precautionary test stage at the moment so keep strong for your lady.

Sad to hear things have taken a turn for the worse Billy.
Lord knows he's served you your fair share already so chip up mate. Stay strong & support her & your lad as they need you.
PM me anytime.

Billy I hope it proves not to be too serious. The problem with human nature is that when we are given several options of what it can be we always assume the worst. I suppose it some ways that is us preparing ourselves for what may happen but in most cases our worries are proved to be wrong.

Thanks to everyoone.

Jesus geezer hope you're missus is ok, you have my sympathy man.

I've never been through anything like that and I pray I never will but I know people who have.

Only little pieces of advice I could give are that you should speak to people, anyone in fact, it keeps your head in the right place. Also, don't drink, a mate of mine went through a really tough time recently and started getting hammered to deal with it but that only postpones any depression and it comes back with a vengeance. I don't know if you drink at all but alcohol would be your worst enemy right now.

All the best mate <ok>

My girl (and yes I know that suprises some of you) had a breast scare about a month ago. You know the score. X-ray, straight in, very painful bi-op.

Results back in 2 days. You know what am thinkin at the speed here.

Anyway, turns out she is ok.

Guess who cried when the doc broke the news? Yep, me.

Anyway, what am tryin to say is take it as it comes. Save your strength. Don't predict.

It might not happen, but fight like f**k if it does.

x

You're not the only one who would have cried under such circumstances, hope she's back on her feet soon.

Chin up mate - the symptoms you describe could be due to a number of things. The most obvious - stomach ulcer - my mother had some beauties - she couldnt keep any food down - a course of antibiotics and proton pump inhibitors soon saw to that though. Even stomach cancer can be treated. You need to support Janie through this.

I wish it was mate.

She's been done for that.

Thanks though, I appreciate everything you have all said.

Wish I had time to PM the lot of you buggers.

LOL.
