I think it is worth pointing out that if you think that a thread is pointless, then ignoring it will send it down into the the room 101 that is page 2, assuming others agree with you.
If you post something along the lines that "this thread is pointless", it automatically climbs to the top of page one.... Well, I thought everybody knew that, but obviously not!
If we can all put up with the 195th Chamberlain post, surely we don't mind the odd polite introduction?
