Not sure he wants to be the main man for long periods. If he did, I reckon he would have had the job after WBA and Leeds.

Plus the club don't want to lose him from his current role.
The club have changed his role as a result of the 3 games.

They may be more he can do, but without reinforcements coming it's a huge ask

Edit. I haven't seen anything to suggest Beale can get it right here, he's had 2 full weeks with the squad and we have gone backwards.

No point in bringing players in, when this clown cannot get a tune out of the players at his disposal.

True, but the team is short of an experienced cdm and striker, I think we are all agreed on that

Something I have been pondering. I wouldnt normally put much credence in it, but maybe I should. In out dugout we have no real experience of playing in an elite way. Nobody with bags of experience of being a top end player. I am not forgetting Proctor, but I think you know what I mean.

When Beale was with Gerrard he also had Macallister. He said they left Beale to coach but he would get round individuals and talk to them. I am guessing but he probably has a lot of empathy with players and what they might go through at different times. After all they are humans probably have **** days like all of us. Wonder if we are missing some of that. It is one of the reasons I thought the Mowbray sacking was criminal. He and Venus had so much experience as coaches and players and I bet between them they did so much of the 1-1 chats and chin up stuff. Now we are 1 coach lite, in numbers terms, and arguably nobody with the capability to do that side of the job. The fact we are 1 coach lite also needs to be highlighted imo, it matters.

Easy to say now but if the club wanted Will Still regardless of any transfer business they wanted to do they should have paid the compensation. I don’t go to the matches any more but the reason I say this is looking at the players body language Pritchard telling Beal what to do from the pitch and the current style of play any potential players in my opinion are now going to think twice.

The negativity on the pitch is not linked to the BCB, for me anyway.

We have become slow, ponderous and hardly have a goal threat. We are losing games against poor opposition and have very low xg. We are boring to watch and his impact on the sidelines is minimal , with late subs.

Have you seen people chanting to get a manager out after 7 games here. Not sure I have. Long long road back when that's in place.

We haven't lost against any poor opposition as he's only been beaten by Coventry, Hull and Ipswich and then up the road.

Again, they got lucky on Friday with the deflection just like Ipswich did.

I haven't seen a huge change from TM to MB. Have I have noticed is all the negativity which is likely putting off the young lads expressing themselves.

And you really need to stop this 7 game ****. It started on day one.

I’m still waiting. Beale’s had a month but the first couple of weeks there was little time to train. So I would give him the rest of the season.
Mowbray did well last year. But we had a solid defence with Ballard and Batth in the centre. Definitely overachieved. Things started to decline before TM left. It sounds like he was whingeing about lack of experience and no decent striker.
If nothing happens this window then I would question KS & KLD and the plan rather than Beale.

That's rationale but if we get whooped off stoke and the Boro and the fans continue to turn, not sure rationale decision making will be available.

I think he will be gone if that happens.

If we don't sign a cf and cdm this window then questions have to be asked imo.

I don't believe they will leave us short though not when it's so obvious to everyone the team need help

That would be the sensible approach

It worries me that player will be seeing what is going on, and think, l am not moving there. It's also worrying there hasn't been any gossip from agents, press, scouts, and other agencies about XYZ player coming in.

As for Beale, l would always give a new man a chance, but the overwhelming feeling from our supporters did not want him. He was on a loser from the start, that should have sounded alarm bells to the hiaracy.

Think back to Cloughie, 44 days at Leeds. Personally, l would peddle Beale, and hopefully learn from the mistake.

Peddle Beale, aye Clough had a s hit career after leaving Leeds <doh>

The change has been massive. The data backs it up too. We have the worst xg we have had all season. 5 of which has been under Beale. The performances have been rank IMO. Hull and Rotherham 2 of the worst of the season.

I was willing to give him a go based purely on his coaching pedigree but it's like he's doing a speedrun to being sacked. The players just aren't playing for him for whatever reason.

It doesn't help that the bloke who coached the kids got more out of this group in a week than he has in a month or that the previous manager was still pretty popular, but he's done nothing to help himself.

I'm normally patient with managers but I've seen this play out enough times now to know how it ends.

If he goes there's still a season to save. If not we'll be down near the relegation places and back to the toxic crowd days.
If he goes quickly, there is a season to be saved.

We are, but l just feel something doesn't sit quite right with me. It's is very quite with ten days left.
Just me speculating, but would Amad come back if TM was still here?
