the curious thing is i am not that fussed on Potter. So if we did get him, you would be happy but i would be dubious.

Mad how diverse opinions can be around football

Edit: Now hes a really random thought i have had since the weekend. We are all pretty much accepting at some point one or 2 will be sold and the money reinvested to make us stronger.

What happens if Clarke etc arent motivated by money, but by playing and would rather play every week in a place where they are flourishing. Obviously highly improbable but an interesting thought.

I wouldn't be surprised if Clarke and Neil stay at the club. Both are playing first team football in front of big crowds and seem to be enjoying their football. Ok, say a premier league team come in for each of them, offer them a big pay rise but can't offer them guaranteed first team games - would they move?

It's an interesting thought isnt it? Especially Clarke who had a big move that didn't work out.

What I like is that he went to a foreign country, got the team promoted, and learned his trade.

Then he took Brighton to a very high finish playing some great football with different tactics to suit the opposition.

He'll go to Palace though, no way he'd drop down to this league.

I've thought that for a while and maybe it'll be proven to be correct, but I temper that with the thought that it may be about ambition . . . . they might be ambitious enough to want to play at the highest level possibe, and they actually should be. That makes it more important for us to succeed in the playoffs this season, I think, though they might accept KLD's plan to give it one more season if we don't go up in May :emoticon-0112-wonde

Think it would be big mistake him going to Crystal Palace. Absolute disaster of a club. Always has been.

Fortunate to be given time, that really is one of the silliest comments you've ever made, he's actually had a better points total at the start of his SAFC career than quite a lot of former managers.
What time has he been given and who by , the idiots that said after 3 games it was proof he wasn't capable of doing the job.
I will give you credit for fighting your corner but you are starting to look silly and lots of people seem to have the same opinion of you

    Yes.

A professional football career is short. At some point, our better players will be tempted by a lucrative contract that could set them up for life and I don't blame them one bit.

Let's enjoy them while they are here and wish them luck when they eventually go on to bigger and better things.

I think he'll go to West Ham after yesterday's disastrous result.

David Moyes will not get a new contract.

    Good call mate.

West Ham are a weird club, will never hit the top four and always have a chip on their shoulder ...

... and the PL should stop them pumping bubbles onto the pitch when they score, it's pathetic.

I wouldn't be surprised if West Ham are already talking to Potter.

I can't see Potter going to Anfield.....

    ....or David Moyes! :emoticon-0116-evilg

They'll hound him out like they do most of their managers If they aren't playing "The West Ham Way"
Problem is no bugger is old enough to remember what the West Ham way is

See all this crap about turning things around... its as much a nonsense as all the ridiculous negativity after a couple of defeats. He's doing fine and getting on with his job. We lose next two and the same people will be hounding him again. Its ****ing ridiculous.
