So if Dodds happens to lose his 1st 4 matches do we then go for his throat
im not so sure its as clear cut as that.

Assuming in your scenario Dodds for whatever reason is appointed in the next few weeks, i think 99% of our fans will look at the Squad make up / balance and if we havent addressed the 2 biggest holes will cut Dodds slack, as long as the team are attempting to play the good football we know they can.

i'm not joking and i might get stick, but i'd give it to warnock till end of season

and then go back in the summer for still with are tail between are legs

I generally like your posts....but not Warnock! I'm not sure how these players would cope with his tactics, and,we're not in danger of going down. We don't need back against the wall fire-fighting...... we're just outside the play-offs with half the season to go,more or less. If it comes to it....which I hope it doesn't....I'd stick with Dodds.

Well now Klopp's leaving Liverpool, surely they will have someone who has the respect and gravitas Beale tells us he has on their radar as his replacement. I for one believe we should "step aside" and let the uber coach blossom there to take up his rightful place amongst the giants of football :emoticon-0102-bigsm

I fell asleep earlier on and thought about Klopp, getting tired of the pressures of being at the top all the time, and wondered if he fancied a spell trying to take a young, aspiring group of players, with well-heeled owners and fantastic facilties, from a lower level to the very top,as a legacy to his career...........then I woke up!

To be fair to Beale, I have had a fair few snide comments both pre and at games about my accent. Which considering how large our exile fan base is, is quite strange
Wouldn’t worry about it mate, I’ve had it loads and I’m from jarra haha

Said the toxic bit to me m8 last night,so when they sack Beale who do the lynch mob want In charge ? Then how long before they turn on the next manager ? No matter who comes through the door they only have the same hand to play with
I hope KLD keeps him in place until the end of his contract, just to let our so called fans know he has no intention of listening to them ( he can afford it ) hopefully they will have stopped supporting the club by then.

The thing is some fans say he’s said nothing wrong. Do you believe the fans who want Beale, Speakman and KLD out or the ones with a brain. Give me a minute?
but he doesn't need to put him self in that situation, he didn't even need to say it could of just kept silent and said and he will let the future results do the talking

like him hate him doesn't matter what side your on

we are all sunderland fans and the most important people at a football clubs is the fans and, once a coach starts digging back at them fans

it's a disaster waiting to happen

even if we had Guardiola and he started attacking the fans i would want him out aswell

You obviously didn’t read my post properly, I said some fans don’t think he’s said anything wrong,
Do I believe them over someone who acts like a three year old in a toy shop? Hmmm!

Again, some fans have said he has said nothing wrong, you believe he has, that’s up to you. I know who I believe.

that's up to them but because one set of fans disagree with the other set doesn't mean the other set is thick

It's all so predictable though. Some said this, including myself in the head coach thread in December. It's how he interacts with the fans pre and post match, it just really annoys people. And here we are, everytime he opens his mouth more fans get engaged.

Just get shot. He can go somewhere and coach behind the scenes and delivery "some of the best coaching witnessed" apparently

Don't let him be the main man. Well not at s club like ours.
Spot on, he is not a head coach or manager

I cant believe Beale is that far up his own arse he thinks his accents the problem ffs.
Mogga is a smoggy and we all took to him and had huge respect for him as a man and a manager.

I've never know a new manager be so disconnected to the fans before.

We dominated the ball against Hull but did little with it.

We've gotten worse under Beale, not better. The intensity has drained further and I think the togetherness looks to have lessened as well.

Mowbray wasn't the answer anymore (but he had earned some goodwill), but Beale isn't showing anything on the pitch or off it to persuade fans that he wasn't the wrong appointment.

Dropping Rusyn when he did was madness.

Not playing anyone wide right game after game is madness.

Leaving subs until so late is madness.

Beale himself saying his record is similar to his predecessor as his defence is just plain stupidity... the last guy was sacked.
But it only looks like madness because you/I/we don't understand why he's done it. It's ridiculous to suggest that a professional coach is going to make decisions without having a good reason for doing so. He is privy to much more information about his players and about the opposition than we as fans are and his decisions will be based on this. He's trying to find solutions to problems. They might be imperfect solutions but he will know why he's made those decisions and so will his staff. Criticising him for doing something without knowing why he's done it is daft.
