Somebody on FB is reporting that the police have told/will tell the stewards to allow us to peacefully protest with regards to the protest march and potential sit in after the game. They have warned anybody that leaves during the game will not get back into the stadium.

The Allams have caused a toxic atmosphere this summer by forcing Steve Bruce out in the most cowardly way possible, and letting the playing squad rot before our eyes.

People making a noise with pieces of card can only be an improvement.

And of course, people will be forgiven for taking the reports of another imminent takeover with a grain of salt.

How would you have described Steve Bruce leaving if he had of been successful in getting the England job and leaving us in the lurch just before the start of the season ?
And I wasn't one of the 75%, perhaps more and a huge majority of posters on here who wanted Bruce sacked for the last two years.
It isn't 'another imminent takeover' either. Its only the second one we know about and the first one didn't happen because the people wanting to buy wouldn't pay the asking price.

1. He didn't get the England job though did he. Though, I think he would have been relieved, since he'd been hung out to dry so much.

2. I wasn't one of the people who wanted him out either, but that's irrelevant when talking about the treatment he got from Ehab.

3. These takeovers always seem to be reaching an 'advanced stage' just before City are about to play a match.

The protest is optional, if you don't support it, just go and watch the football and leave the majority of Hull City fans to make their feelings known.

Yeah then you get verbally abused for not taking part by the muppets waving red cards and spewing their bile at the ones that don't.

As for your mention of majority, i will wait till matchday to see if it is anywhere near.

I don't think Bruce was 'hung out to dry at all'
He was given enough cash to buy and keep the players he needed to get he club promoted back to the PL. A fairy godmother didn't give him the cash either.
I wasn't at the meeting when he decided to resign, perhaps you were ? but I would have thought he was told that the Allams are selling up and therefore until that happens they would not be any or much cash for new signings.
It's up to you if you believe the 'advanced stage' announcement regarding the pending sale is a smokescreen to keep the fans on side before a game. Do you seriously think they would be able to keep that one up before every game this season ?

Again. What a waste of time and money.

What good will waving red pieces of card/paper around do?

This is HCST at their best i guess, pretty much all they can muster. You can imagine the meeting in the think tank where this idea was hammered out.

The Allams must be pissing themselves laughing. At least there is the chance they will sell up quicker through embarrassment of the HCST's actions than feeling threatened and belittled through the media, if they even give it more than a mention.

It's pathetic. These people in HCST or whatever, just some people thinking they are important.
Can't they just go away ?
The Allams won't take any notice whatsoever !

I agree, why would the Allams take any notice? They don't give a toss about protests, singing or card waving.

Like i asked previously, what good will it do? ? ? ?

Absolutely none.

What about this pre-season though? Where was the money then? And how has it turned out so far? Bruce has his reputation and deserved better. He clearly cared and was obviously distraught. This casual dismissing of him from fans in a desperate attempt to defend the indefensible is the sort of **** we've seen on here for months, and it should have died out completely by now. It seems your attitude towards him changed overnight, which leads me to think your opinions are insincere.

Regarding the sale rumours, I don't think they plan it out that far. They fight fires as and when they come out in a desperate way. There's no strategy or plan, just deflection. Clearly, I hope desperately it's true, but it seems way too convenient. They deserve a sustained belly full of dissent for 90 minutes on Saturday, they've earned it.
