How good is it looking forward to the start of the season for once man!

We have a chairman unlike any other, two Wembley trophies, a Wembley promotion and a massive support ...

.... we also have the goodwill of every neutral who saw our performance at Wembley.

Only a miserable **** could be whinging now.

Of course we were in the 3rd division, and looking lost, but the support is still there, 28,000 SCs, and we're on the up.

HAWAY!!!!

Dark clouds have passed, will be a tough season but feel really positive about the club right now, haven’t been able to say that too often!

Agree 100% understand why people would be wary but he has my full backing, he’s delivered so far so no reason to doubt him for me

What I really like is that he's never shouted the odds, made outlandish predictions or pushed himself into the limelight ....

... or attempted to buy us lot drinks in local pubs and patronise us <laugh>

Cracking video that. It is easy to forget what a rollercoaster it was now that we are promoted. It is also easy to forget those who never got the chance to have their day, like Flannagan, who was a committed lad for us. I reckon that promotion may be one of our most memorable for all the lows and highs.

What really appeals to me is the way he's doing things, he hasn't said he's going to spend massive amounts of money on transfer fees and wages, he's got a plan a structure and is surrounded by people that know what they are doing, ive said this before some of the players we had in a league 1 squad was actually unbelievable.
If we had had Alex Neil at the start of the season we would have walked away with this league, the vast majority of the players on the pitch at Wembley imo quite capable of playing in the championship.
I don't know exactly what it is but something feels different this time, it feels right

well that nations league was hardly a replacement for the world cup that we should have been getting into (until big money and brown envelopes ruined it) and right now i am really missing my 'hit' of football on a weekend, not a racing or F1 fan, cant stand golf, i can use cricket as a substitute but only for a short while...i need the season to start!!!

That Bolton away game was horrible, one I’ll never forget. It’s unbelievable how Neil came in and shored us up at the back after that horror show. Fair play.
