HAHAHAHHAHAAAAA!!! Do you all believe everything you read in the papers! I read the Mirror report yesterday and HE SAID nothing about him 'wanting to leave'! PAPERS PRODUCE BIG HEADLINES LIKE THAT TO SELL!! IT'S MEANINGLESS! IGNORE IT ALL!
And yet I actually read on the OS that he wants to stay for the foreseeable future? Hmmm...who to believe?
You are spot on, I still haven't seen the bit where he said he wanted to leave. Maybe someone can enlighten me.
The way I see it it's win win for Saints. We either sell him for good money with a nice sell on clause or keep hold of a promising young player. If we do sell him and Nige gets to plough it back into the first team then we could get in a couple of quality players who could actually make more of an impact this season than Oxo can on his own. The only thing that would annoy me is if he left and gets loaned back to another Championship side!!
if alex does leave i'd want him to go to liverpool. i think dalgleish could do far more for the player than wenger could
Surely Arsenal are a sinking ship. They were poor last season, have since sold and are selling their players and havent won anything for years. Walcott was better when he was 16 and in a saints shirt. Their manager is crackers (and not in a good way). We are a rising submarine going full speed ahead..... I think Ill leave the metaphors to Adkins. Stay on the bus Oxo!
I've just had enough with the speculation - It's either Chamberlain says he wants to stay, or he says he wants to go and we get a lot of dosh for him. Whichever it is it needs to be sorted really.
Having a ding-dong with Darren Lewis on Twitter over it. He's getting better with us so the move is unnecessary. Loyalty in Football went years ago. Money is the only motivation. Wish Arsenal would f*ck off and get their own academy.
If this interview is genuine and its not his words being twisted/taken out of context then I can't see even the most optimistic Saints fan being confident that he will be here come the end of the transfer window
On the subject of letting him go to Liverpool (i dont want him to leave at all though) they are in need of an out and out right winger, like Chamberlain, so he will get more of an opertunity. I'd like to see him do well what ever he decides to do.
