You're unlikely to challenge the big money but need to keep spending to keep your squad fresh. Unless you've got a cup run, it all becomes a bit stale. Hard to keep fans interested, teams get a bit stale.
See Stoke, Burnley, Sunderland etc... Think its happening to Wolves too.
