Harry Kewell

Not for me. He plays in Adam's position and I'd rather him than Harry. Not the type of player needed in my opinion.

Good shout ...an older head who has seen it all and done it all. I have expressed this view in another thread we have a young team they need an old head to help them close out games, if he is not after to much cash then it is risk worth taking in the short term.

Agree with the logic but not Kewell. Injury prone and too inconsistent for me.

had a season in australia and wasn't brilliant, got into the right areas but didn't finish them off enough.

I would love to see him at saints but can't see it happening

Because there is nothing happening in the world of football!

My own view is that I totally agree with the idea of an older head, but Harry Kewell? We should have got Murphy before Blackburn did.

There's older head, and then there's just downright ridiculous. The last I heard of Kewell, bar the Stoke "interest", he was being courted by Swindon and Yeovil or something like that. He's old, injury-prone, and a player in a position that we don't have a problem with.

While we're at it, why don't we re-sign Killer? Can't get much older than him, unless we can tempt Lundekvam away from his GTA life.

He played in the 2010 World Cup..........for 23 minutes, until he got sent off.

Yeah, seen the inside of a lot of treatment rooms. He peaked at Leeds imo.

As an Australian I remember him looking very dangerous for those 23, you could just see that he knew where to run and was a constant threat. For the red card he was sent off when the ball hit his arm on the goal line, he made no movement towards it and I think it was a very harsh call, much like the penalty in 06 against the Italians.
