It's likely because he called the fans thickos. Almost as if insulting/getting into fights with the fans never ends well..

He wasn't far wrong. But guess its not a great move in the cause of creating fan/manager harmony. Three weeks ago, or less, when they were going well he was the bees-knees. Just pleased that its not illness related.
