All the best to everyone and good times ahead in 2021 and beyond. Both on personal levels when this pandemic hopefully cedes and is less effective so we can return to a more normal way of life, and on a sporting level with our beloved club where, fingers crossed, better times are within touching distance. I raise a glass to you all :emoticon-0167-beer:

Happy new year all. Me, Mrs S and the bairn normally spend it in a cottage in Amble, watching the fireworks going off in Alnwick then a midnight walk on the beach with the dogs. Stuck here in Ryhope, just as cold but not half as nice.
That sounds a tremendous way to see the new year in, lovely place Amble

Been the $h!tiest year ever glad to see the back of it seen my Grandchildren for about 5 mins on Christmas day
We usually go to a restaurant NYE and back to a hotel
Had a takeaway tonight with my wife (no family allowed)
Supposed to be going to Vienna in June please do not cancel that
Been locked up for ten month
Happy new year

Sorry I am a bit grumpy but at least I saw my Grandchildren some ( like Riever ) did not

Roll on the new year and the take over

Cheers mate, very hard to bear tbh.

But, I have to say, the messages from here and elsewhere have really put me in a great mood.

A call from my wonderful relatives in the Chopwell valley made me feel really 'back home'.

Happy New Year all, hopefully we are back in the SOL this year coming, not matter how much they anger me, I don’t half miss the bastards

2020 the longest and worst year in the history of mankind and I will be glad to see it pass into history. Just watching The Last Leg of the Year and their first mention of Coronavirus back on 24th January. I'd already been tracking news of the outbreak in China for five weeks by then and we were well in to Donald and the (more active commitment to the) sale of the club. Added to that was the story of the Brexit agreement. Jeez but all of these things made this a long year.

Anyway, the vaccine roll out is under way and the sale of the club is well on its way to completion and we have an agreement (but I still don't know the full ins and outs of it) so there is more hope on the horizon than for a long, long time.

Anyhow, I wish you all the best of luck with your drinking tonight, an early vaccination call and many days of celebrating the success of SAFC.

Happy new year everyone! Doing nothing this year obviously! Just sitting playing the guitar with the kids pretending to be rock stars! Hopefully 2021 will be better than 2020 but it doesn't look like it for at least the next few months.
