And to you mate, It's a good day in the Smug household ...

... having a weekend at Portpatrick for no good reason.
Nice, like PortPatrick, stayed at the Causewell Lighthouse which is nearby, very nice too.
Taking the bride out for lunch at a golf club in Kendal, quite civilised really, although it's persisting down at the minute.

We sat, at midnight, watching the lights in Ireland twinkling away then a fishing set off into the dark ...

... I love having a boat but that's not my idea of fun.

Have you had a chance to get to Kippford yet?

No mate, perhaps I never will now.

The Earl of Galloway was great but his wife was a big drinker and a bit hysterical ...

... so we've swapped coasts and are now in Fife, Upper Largo.

Mrs Smug has really settled here which makes my life nice and easy.

Happy Friday all....what a great thread this is.
Love Portpatrick, Kippford and Kirkcudbright.
My Friday? The Mrs in in bed...not feeling too good. I'm gonna stick a film on and have the only thing I like that is Black & White....a few cans of Guinness.
Tomorrow, my eldest son is back home from Thailand. Been working there just over 5 years, but has decided to come back for good (for now).
This is where he's at now, on way to Dubai. Due in at Ponteland Airport at 11.20am tomorrow.
