And to you mate, It's a good day in the Smug household ... ... having a weekend at Portpatrick for no good reason.
Nice, like PortPatrick, stayed at the Causewell Lighthouse which is nearby, very nice too. Taking the bride out for lunch at a golf club in Kendal, quite civilised really, although it's persisting down at the minute.
We sat, at midnight, watching the lights in Ireland twinkling away then a fishing set off into the dark ... ... I love having a boat but that's not my idea of fun.
I've been to Por I've been to Portpatrick Happy Friday . . . . even though we won't be signing anybody
Tut tut, one nearly forgot ones blueness didn't one. Anyway friday finish at 12, skiving now, cant be arsed to start this stupid little piddly padded whatever it is doodah, so yeah, happy friday!
Wife is out tonight (TV to myself) then I'm out for a few jars tomorrow. Sunday is lie on the sofa and watch footy Happy days
Was looking forward to this weekend having been on call all week but Co worker called in sick today so now I’m having to cover their on call this weekend!!
No mate, perhaps I never will now. The Earl of Galloway was great but his wife was a big drinker and a bit hysterical ... ... so we've swapped coasts and are now in Fife, Upper Largo. Mrs Smug has really settled here which makes my life nice and easy.
Happy Friday all. I am a lucky boy. My wife bought a lovely bottle of wine and a nice bit of Hake for our tea. Wine opened and will cook the Hake for my late tea. Favourite of mine. Nice way to start a weekend.
Yous can **** off, having a can whilst doing dishes with the little one having a sleep over, lasses screaming in sitting room doing tik toks asking for food. Shoot me now
Happy Friday all....what a great thread this is. Love Portpatrick, Kippford and Kirkcudbright. My Friday? The Mrs in in bed...not feeling too good. I'm gonna stick a film on and have the only thing I like that is Black & White....a few cans of Guinness. Tomorrow, my eldest son is back home from Thailand. Been working there just over 5 years, but has decided to come back for good (for now). This is where he's at now, on way to Dubai. Due in at Ponteland Airport at 11.20am tomorrow.
