Disagree DG did nothing all game, the change was when he took N'D off, without his graft in MF it showed.
For it is now time for unity, and that for me means for our home crowd to actually put some effort in in backing the team for a change ..We are certainly in difficulties at the moment, but it will only become a crisis if the fans turn against the team..
Again mate it's a two way street it's ****ing hard backing under achieving over paid twats and for the first time I include MON in that when they don't give us anything to shout about.
i'll be shouting from the rafters on sunday, as will everybody from the outset imo, however, if we get beat it will sound the beginning of the end, a must win game, i dont even think a draw is sufficient to stop some fans turning, a defeat and there will be hell on
i see you keep getting on the crowds back but do they deserve the support they are getting atm??? weve sold out almost all season away from home, so how you can slagg the support off is beyond me..
Home crowd to put some effort in? Taking into consideration the current economic climate I believe the team and manager has had some tremendous backing. Let’s hope the overpaid team display real passion & effort to finally reward many low paid in comparison hard working supporters.
It's not just the players he's signed, it's the 1 guy he didn't get - his old no. 2, John Robertson. That's the missing part of the jigsaw!
Just got back in the house from the match, we were ****ing dire. The lack of fight was the real worry, horrible display lacking in courage or any kind of fight. Titus did ok from what I saw, the rest were total ****e. Gardner and Colback were dreadful and looked like midfielders playing at defenders which is what they are and our midfield is weak as piss with no creativity at all. Most teams will sacrifice one for the other but we have neither. Could go on through the other glaring weaknesses but don't have the will
For years, us as supporter's have been missing that last piece. If it comes down to not having your no. 2 around to help out, then why did MoN take the job on?
Three winnable games left to.keep us up. Norwich, Stoke and Southampton. Cant see us beating anyone else. im hoping we scrape through and there's big investment in the summer. If we stay up Mon will still be manager
While your fixture list confirms you are in real danger, I still think you will have enough to stay up. Let's not forget that we're still looking over our shoulders too. To be fair I like the banter between the two sets of fans when it stays civil and it's just not the same without the two derby days so I wish you luck (apart from in the derby obviously)
I'm not calling for his head though as that would be a total disaster with 10 games to go. What I am saying is though he has to have a good summer and 3 or 4 top signings AND a good start to the next campaign if he is not to divide support for the 2013/14 season. If this continues the he will be gone by November.
I've backed o'neil, and will continue to back him 100% whilst he is still our manager as I did with SB but I fear, The style of football we have displayed (or tried to) will have 100s if not thousands not renewing their season tickets next season. The position we are in will make it difficult to attract decent players and will ES back MON? I think MON, after today, will have already decided to go at the end of the season citing personal reasons.
Regarding our crowd.... We have the 7th highest average attendance in England, just to be in the top 10 would be fantastic and that is something we should all be proud of. Especially when you consider our last 10 years.
Cest wake up! if he stays any longer we're going down hes a spent force and must go now! Be careful if he staya you might wake up in the championship. I been through it to many times, his team and tactics has relegation written all over it. O'Neill OUT NOW.
