Some people do not see racism as a 2 way Street but it certainly is.It's intolerable to all,no matter if you're black or white.....
I was abused contently whilst living in Scotland to the point whereby in the end I left, and wouldn't set foot in Scotland again as long as I live. I've been spat at, had people walk out of restaurants when they heard my accent, and generally felt unwelcome there. This sort of thing never gets a mention.
I'll give you another story John and I'll guarantee it'll bring a smile to a few faces on here as well as your own..I had it hard when I moved up here as I still had 2 years schooling ahead of me.Literally, not a day went by in the first 6 months that I didn't walk out the gates at 3.50 and have to fight someone!!! Every day in one class or another someone would want a fight at home time....I got so sick of it that I started just kicking off in the class and it ended when I knocked a big bullying bastard out with a stool...****ers never touched me again!!!
I've worked with Aberdonians, they don't like other Scots, never mind the English!! I'm very surprised to hear they've walked out of restaurants though....They're the tightest twats on the planet The mutton molesting ****s!!

I went to school at Greenfaulds High School ,Cumbernauld, obviously as my post above confirms,as does yours, things weren't easy being an Englishman in Scotland!! I played a bit of Football at School and was in the School team. There were players at my school who were just that little bit 'special',one of whom was in the year above me and went by the name of Dougie Bell....****ing hated me and my Hull City top!!! Used to comment more of less everyday "Hull City,They're ****e"," English Bastard" etc.Squared up a few times but never came to blows(handbags??).....
Anyway he went on to play for St Mirren,Aberdeen under Fergie, and Rangers under Jock Wallace....I'd meet him some times round about town or on the train going to Ibrox(He was Rangers through and through and I sometimes went to see them, especially against Celtic,my Paternal Grandmothers brother was a Rangers first team regular pre and post war,my Father was Scottish).
I met him some years later on the train going into Glasgow,he was travelling a bit further...To Hull!!! Yes,he was on loan to us at the time.I'll never forget till the day I die, asking him with a massive smile on my face, who you playing for now Dougie???
That's all well and good but did he have a handbagI'll give you another story John and I'll guarantee it'll bring a smile to a few faces on here as well as your own..

Indeed. People are always straying off topic. That's all well and good but did he have a handbag
Only just seen this about cavani
In the post – which was later deleted – the words “gracias negrito!” are used to thank a follower congratulating Cavani on his performance in the match at St Mary’s.
interesting
It was someone he knew. No one has asked the person he addressed the remarks to if he was offended. Not that it matters nowadays with the army of people ready to be offended by everything on their behalf.
Sadly as I explained in an earlier post it doesn't have to be the addressee of the comment that is offended for it to be a racial .. anyone hearing . Seeing .. or being aware of it can make such a complaint. Fraid its the law of the land .. niave to post such I'm afraid in this day and age.
Quite right too.
So if I am offended by the use of the n word in rap songs will action be taken? I am guessing no.
Thats why such songs aren't played on mainstream radio
