Yes, I am sure the staff on the tills at Aldi and Lidl will be getting similar rates on .New Year’s Eve and the people serving you pints on Boxing Day as well.<laugh>
In fairness Aldi and Lidl are closed on Boxing Day, as they should be. Of course daft ****s will be queueing for the Next sale in the early hours of Boxing Day. :emoticon-0138-think

That is why I said about their workers working New Year’s Eve and didn’t mention Boxing Day for them.
Good job everyone doesn’t get 10 days off or people would starve to death in the queue for the sales. Especially if the takeaway and restaurant workers got the same.

Well make sure you're wearing your twat hat, woolie jumper and don't forget to take a duvet and pillow. Oh yea, keep safe.

a couple of years back i discovered some reduced-price halloween baubles in a supermarket. rather odd; i didn't know people put halloween trees up. anyway they were stupidly cheap and more or less in city colours, so i got some.

What is it with the little **** kids that can't grasp the concept of take 1.

Bet its the not606 peasant kids.

Can't think why they don't come to your house, he lied. :emoticon-0138-think

They haven’t been down our road, or general area, because following groups of older ones acting like ****s and intimidating older people on their own they let it would be keeping an eye on things and older ones would be dealt with. Shame for the young ones who came round with their parents supervising them as the parents must have been put off as well.

We seem to becoming Americanised when it comes to Halloween in this country. That and/or social media pressures etc. Decorating the house or designing the costume for Instagram.

Third year running we had no trick or treaters round our way. Long may it continue.
Police did the rounds of some of the Primary Schools this year and part of the message was to not bother houses not decorated. Maybe some effect?

No, I explained why it seems to have dropped off in an earlier post. Around my way. Don’t know about the rest of the town.
