Fair enough but F1 is on its down period, I'm not doing anything wrong other than trying to encourage the people that are left before this place becomes a ghost town.

I didn't see people having a big deal about "bumping up" the prediction league before race weekends as a daily reminder. 2 days to go! 1 day to go! 12 hours to go!

    Thanks for your efforts, Silver.
It would be interesting to compare with similar polls of other groups of people such as forums and the general press.

Wasn't sure where to put the following but then I remembered this.

James Allen: Rating the F1 drivers for the season so far (Gazzetta dello Sport)

NB. This is on Allen's page but was published by Gazzetta dello Sport, an influential ITALIAN paper

Here is the full run down:

    10 – Alonso
    8.5 – Hamilton
    8 – Raikkonen

7 – Webber, Vettel, Rosberg, Grosjean
    6.5 – Di Resta, Maldonado
6 – Schumacher, Perez, Kobayashi, Hulkenberg, Kovalainen, Glock, De la Rosa, Pic, Petrov,
    5.5 – Senna
5 – Button, Vergne, Ricciardo, Karthikeyan
    4.5 Massa

Vs our (Silvers) top 5 of:

    1st: Alonso (Landslide!)
    2nd: Lewis (Safe 2nd)
    3rd: Kimi (By himself)
    4th: Webber (Just keeps 4th)
    5th: Vettel (Double of 6th)

Seems we agree(ish) there. The Bottom 5 bar Maldanado seems pretty similar to with our bottom 5 of:

    1st: Maldonado (Just)
2nd: Narain (Close to 2nd but clear of 3rd)
    3rd: Button (Close to 4th)
    4th: Massa (Same as above)
    5th: Senna (Vergne close behind)

Here's JA's selection of their reasoning,

Well, in terms of our assessment of drivers, it seems this forum is almost exactly in tune with the larger 'out there', doesn't it?

This would suggest that not606 is pretty representative bunch when it comes to motor racing and especially F1; probably more so than many other forums where the bias of some leading members can become infectious, effectively alienating those who dare to disagree.
