Press the any key. No time for that, the computer is starting. Phew. Press the tab key for a refreshing soft drink and put it in the cup holder which you can access by pressing the button marked "CDROM open". <ok>

I seem to recall having a Commodore. Can't remember the model but it had Windows type features (GUI interface) when Microsoft were still on a boring black & white text based user interface Microsoft were light years behind but their budget and marketing force was such that better software such as that on Acorn computers couldn't compete and disappeared leaving Microsoft to build at their own pace into what we now know. Similar to the archaic IBM mainframes. Total crap but their marketing force was such that consultants felt they were safe in recommending IBM and so it grew. IBM MF was light years behind Tandem MF Computers which, I believe, is now owned by the company from which it originated (Hewlett Packard). Once again, it was the financial might of IBM that saw them through despite their mediocrity.

I have to say Ron, your memory and knowledge in the world of IT, leaves a certain call centre boy on here considerably lacking, embarrassingly so.

In fact i think his last insight into his world of IT was about passwords, need i say more.

All i can say is leave it to our true IT expert Ron <applause>

Someone is reading and deleting Ron's emails and corresponding with his bank pretending to be him.

If that's an I T expert then I'm an SAS expert because I tried on a ski mask for a laugh 20 years ago.

Don't worry yourself Si, I'm sure with Ron's expertise in IT, he knows all about and how to handle phishing email's, yes I will admit it was a little concerning when he started making phone calls, but i had every confidence in our Ron that he would not be that stoooopid. As i previously said Si, if i want IT advice I'd call Ron, if I want a password reset I call a minimum wage call centre boy, probably based somewhere in London eating pizza.

As for the mask, I know i've seen the pictures <ok>

Don't get upset over it. I spotted it, dealt with it, alerted everyone to the possibility and it's all good. Just for info though, if my son was so inclined, he could hack into your email account without you knowing (he's much more technical than I). Wouldn't surprise me if Joe could also. Don't worry though, I won't ask him to <laugh>
