I agree.

It doesn't make sense, which is why I think there's something more behind it all.

I did hear one story that suggests that Walker hasn't been pulling his weight in training, which caused Poch to drop him, and which has led to the rift. If that's the case, good on Poch for kicking his ass, and good riddance to him if he wants an easier ride at City or elsewhere.

I saw Citeh were getting Walks and Sanchez for a round £100m.
So Kyle's now worth £75m then?? <laugh>
 
Now we're being told that the collage on Kyle Walker's Instagram page is him saying goodbye to Spurs.

One slight problem with this statement: every single one of the nine images that make up the collage have the same caption

Not sure how anyone could derive "I'm off to Manchester" from that, other than hacks with a terminal case of confirmation bias or certain Chelsea-supporting bellends that post on this forum who have a crippling lack of reading comprehension...

Today's spin on the Narrative: Spurs didn't win anything last season, so nobody will remember them.

Here is a short list of football teams that don't have a trophy between them, which means nobody is talking about them...
The Dutch team from the 1974 World Cup
The Brazil team from the 1982 World Cup
The Hungary team from the 1954 World Cup
The Italy team from the 1994 World Cup
The England team from the 1990 World Cup

At the risk of trying to apply logic to the headline, I couldn't help but wonder if they're trying to plant the following seed in their readers' minds:
* One of the London Bridge attackers was an Arsenal fan
* Jeremy Corbyn is an Arsenal fan
* This obviously means that Jeremy Corbyn supports terrorism

I wouldn't put it past them.

I wouldn't either, but they might have put him on there too, if that were the case.
Different story, of course, but some attempt to put him up there alongside it.
Probably don't want to risk giving him any more publicity, though.

I suspect that they're trying to stir up more fear by making out that he could be anybody.
The rest of the page talking about him having a nickname and working for the tube and KFC would suggest that.

In similar news, there seems to be a problem with using the BBC's complaints form.

Could it be due to the site being overloaded due to the amount of complaints they're receiving for the Daily Politics Show showing a Photoshopped image of Corbyn next to Osama bin-Laden in a piece on terrorism, or have they merely taken the site offline to pretend that the public aren't voicing their disgust at their nakedly blatant levels of bias?

One thing that hasn't received much coverage this election (wonder why) is that the Government seems to have decided not to implement the second part of the Leveson inquiry:

The fact is that the Sun seems not to have learned anything from Leveson and it appears that they never will. I wait for their ludicrous Thursday headline with interest.

It's almost like the Dire Leader wants to keep the Sun, Mail and Express onside...somehow failing to understand she could probably drive a bulldozer through their offices and they'd still back her like indoctrinated zealots.
 
The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan looks like he might make a pretty good PM a little down the line. Says all the right things and is getting the right training having to run the Capital at a time like this. In fact he would probably do a better job right now that either of the two clowns that we have to choose from. Fortunately, I'm stuck in the Congo and my postal vote in probably just inside my front door in the UK so at least I can't majke a bad choice, which is what almost all of the electorate will do. My vote wouldn't matter anyhow because Damien 'not that nice but extremely dim' Green will win in Ashford as he always does. Whatever happened to the Monster Raving Looney Party? I used to like them. Their USA counterparts won the election over there with just a little help from there friends.
