These ****wits sole aim is to unsettle and try and create ‘news’. In this case, suggesting that a player under contract to Spurs for a further 2 or 3 years, on the back of an injury-riddled season, would then either a) be engineering a move away from a top 4 PL club on the up, or b) that if Spurs wanted to get rid, that another Top 4 PL club would be interested...... It is wrong on so many ****ing levels it doesn’t deserve the response, but heh......
Heard a bit of the start of the Emery press conference today. Not commenting on their new manager, just that not one of the hacks/ITKs picked up on any of this. Gazidis said that they'd interviewed 6 people (he might have said 8, but the point is that it's a lot) and interviewed Emery on 13 May. I've no reason to doubt any of this. What did all these so-called sports journalists know about this - nothing - in fact they were even giving the job to Arteta a couple of days ago. Just bear that in mind before believing any of those hacks in future.
