Their should be a Risk Assessments on Not606 web site some of the post makes me want to throw up and kill myself..

Dont blame the companies, blame the ****ers that dont take responsibility for their own stupidity and end up suing successfully for something that was entirely their own fault.

The companies must be seen to be putting these initiatives in place in order to reduce insurance premiums and reduce risk of liability in a court. Im sure the company cant be arsed with the half of it as it is costly to implement, usually, and will have the effect of stifling productivity. Better than being sued out of business though

Careful gents, we have a H&S supervisor superstar in our presence

I just had a team briefing and one of the things was to discuss a project, saying how to survey a bridge in a boat safely. One of the ****y bosses goes up and gives a big pile of ****e, then the person in charge of the briefing says we shouldn't have used the boat <grr>

What are you on about, its the truth! Liability was covered in my business degree. The firm has to jump through hoops to even get insurance, then they have to cover all routes of excape for the insurance company if a claim does arise, and believe me the insurance companies will try anything to worm their way out of paying up.

An insurance company bailing on a firm has been the demise of many a start-up company!
