...and as for reports that Rodgers is "absolutely furious" with Siggy for choosing Tottenham

Rodgers earned good money and declared he was professionally happy at Swansea to all who would listen.
He left for more money and a chance to win things (don't blame him)

Siggurdsson was just as happy at Swansea, if you believe what he says, and he has just chose to **** us and Liverpool over because Spurs are offering him the most money and his best chance to win things.

Rodgers should be saying, Yes, I understand Siggs, you've got to do what's right for you

...and I'll admit I'm enjoying the schadenfreude, they may both prove me wrong but at the mo it looks like these 2 fellas are about to join the long list of ex swans who left citing their ambition only to be overtaken by us down the line. How long before Liverpool sack Rodgers and Siggy is shipped out of Spurs having not played many games.

All of that may be true Terror but I mean I could come along to Swansea & agree to continue the style of football ; it doesn't mean I could actually accomplish it (being completely incompetent as i am) He did though didn't he & in a superior league. The way you lot talk Martinez still actually controls your team by remote control!

It's this that we are finding hard to understand. Why are all you Swansea lot so hell bent on undermining & downplaying what he & yes what the team, his predecessor & chairman achieved at your club. Just to score Internet points with us? Show some loyalty to your club don't rewrite history to say it was nothing special!

If you're right & he flops here it doesn't change that he succeeded with you. And if he succeeds here it wait! it still doesn't change the fact that he succeeded with you.

Just say it honestly. You HOPE he fails with us for whatever reason that may be, be it resentment at him leaving or annoyance at us taking him or you believe you can overtake us in the league, whatever.

And just so I'm not seen as hypocritical apparently going on earlier claims, yes if SG joins Spurs, I hope he is terrible for them! For not joining us & for any help to crawl back passed them in the league would be greatly appreciated!

I'm very proud of what everyone achieved here, very proud, and it's special.
If you re-read my post you'll notice that I give him some credit....his fair share of credit.
Sick and tired of reading or listening to pundits who knew nothing about Swansea City, our recent history, or any of our players at the start of this season (it was fairly obvious from the coverage up until Christmas that virtually no-one in the media had done their homework) giving Rodgers too much credit.
Anyone would swear he possesses a magic wand.

The people most responsible for our rise is the Chairman and the board.

Err no you never,you insulted me for having the audacity to ask you for proof that Rodgers is furious.

So as it stands you cant prove it and you are just coming across as bitter,and yet LFC have done nothing wrong and neither has the player.

If he signs for Spurs we move on end of.

I'm not bitter I'm ****ing ecstatic that the incompetent twats at L.F.C (you really can't dispute that statement can you?) have paid us 7 big ones for a manager, Colin ****ing Pascoe and a couple of twats with stats. Thank-you.

We carry on just as before but now have a manager with better contacts and a bigger transfer kitty.
