Three years left on his contract on £50k p/w? UAE club pay a year of them. He will NOT be in the shop window in the UAE, he may score an absolute sackful of goals. Although even that isn't guaranteed, unless it's pub standard and he can dribble round an entire team to score he still needs someone to supply him the chances (as has been painfully obvious of late).

Really don't see how he can have gone over anything other than money.
1. The family card. UAE nearer to Ghana? No chance
2. Champions League football? Nope
3. Money? He could well double his money for a year whilst out on loan if the UAE club supplement his base wages with goal/appearance bonuses

Really disappointed by this move, especially given that the window is closed. Bruce must be furious, he took a punt on an International witha questionable goal scoring record in domestic football. The guy shows flashes of what he can do, scores ten and probably made half again.

Hopefully a year in 50 degree heat, playing in empty stadiums will have him pining for seaburn on a wet weekend.

Is that meant to be the Geordie dancer or you trying to shake the spunk out your arse? Either way can we borrow the comprehensive list of strikers that you guys must have drawn up over the last 7 months? You're clearly not using it.

Missed off option 4 mate <ok>

4 / Frustrated at the way he was being forced to play football.

Don't think these Arabs are short of a bob or two..

Who knows what he's been offered, i expect they are more than making his life enjoyable there..

It's rumoured that the loaned fee is £7million, plus the club will save £2million plus wages on a player who don't wanna be here.

We can hopefully sell for £10million-ish, thus making a profit, we certainly don't want any prospect of the ****er coming back.

Bent x 5, at least Bent had some justification (Downing & Young), even if he'd gone to Turkey, he'd have had a Champions League carrot.
