Guzan's a better option than recalling Duke but doesn't this mean we would have to drop a loaned player from our squad on the ruling that we can only have a maximum of 5 loanees on a matchday? Can anyone confirm this? I presume that it will be Amoo that is surplus to our requirements and is replaced on the bench by Devitt...
Think Carroll is still a free agent, although he had a trial at Sheff Utd and didn't impress. As for Guzan coming back, it would be a perfect fit if he's needed having already had a spell with us. The loan spot in the squad would be a simple one for one swap if Mannone is unavailable.
Its been mooted in the daily fail as well not as a definite, but as an option. It makes sense tbh hopefully its only short term problem for Vito.
it seems interesting to me also that Guzan will probably cost us less than Matt Duke would until the end of the season for twice the keeper!!!
I'm not sure Carroll is such a good idea:
