McClean looks quality but he's only been playing for yous lot for two months.

Jonas is brilliant, great engine, works hard, keeps the ball, wins freekicks, can cross can dribble. He's one of our most valuable players. If you don't see him week in week out you can't properly judge him.

This but what pisses me off with Jonas is how sometimes he goes down to easily.

jonas is a great team player . When mcclean gets over his early promise and does it week in week out, plays in world cups, as jonas has, then come back and compare them.

We give you an 11 game head start. You've had your manager all season - we started the season with Steve Bruce. Since O'Neill took over there isnt a side in the country better than us.

A million times better eh? Yet still only 9 points ahead of us and in 5th (not joint 4th as Chelsea have a better gd). Our first choice striker has been out all season as well..

Secondly please do not come witht he bullshit, your first choice striker has been out all season, because i did not meet or see one sunderland fan saying campbell was your first choice striker, because he's scored two goals your jumping on the bandwagon, please don't tell lies.

And 5th or not, we're still above you and will finish above you. two seasons after being relegated, nice to see yous lot progressing far quicker than us.

He was probably on about our £13m striker called Asamoah Gyan, so that means we've been without or two first choice strikers for most of the season... ;-)

As for someone praising the mecurial manager that is Diego Maradona then I'm glad he was quickly put in his place. The one thing I'm sure we can all agree on is that Maradona is an absolute idiot who hasn't got a clue how to manage a football team.

As for the original mass debate on this board, if McLean had the tactical and defensive qualities of Jonas then he'd be the worlds best player and vice versa. Personally if I was a manager I'd want a left winger who is better attacking so I'd pick McLean, if I was playing away at a top top side though and wanted to defend then Jonas would be my pick.
