I like stripes, but just want us to look a bit unique. When they show a quickfire montage type thing on MOTD or SoccerAM you don't want to be thinking, was that us Stoke or Sunderland?

For those who want to go back to stripes, I repeat, we had this great looking kit a little over a year ago. We've had pinstripes. Now for those really fat stripes of the Keegan era.

The kit above wasn't the best "stripes" kit. Too much white on the sleeve and shoulders.

Parkas aren't really Mod. OK to wear over a suit when on a scooter but an absolute no no just to wear out. It was just one of those 60's images, helped by Quadrophenia. I do have some sta-press but they are getting a little tight these days! Suits are cool, most people can look good in a suit.

Re. the Saints strip, I used to be big on the stripes and I don't really like the current one too much but I've decided that I don't care too much as long as it is red and white. I think we will somehow know whether it looks 'right' or not. The current strip is a case in point, I don't like it particularly but it looks classy enough.

How come we are having a new strip anyway? I thought these things generally got changed every 2 years. This will be our 5th one 5 years. Thats a bit naughty.

I don't agree with it :( I long for the days of having a kit last 2/3 seasons but business comes first these days
