David Haye (former stablemate of Groves): 'I've watched them spar maybe 100 rounds and every single round was tasty, toe-to-toe... You have the punch volume of Eubank and the sharp-shooting sniper style of Groves, you're gonna get yourself a barnstormer.'

Anthony Crolla: 'Groves is the bigger man, he has the better jab, is the bigger puncher, has better pedigree, better wins, and has been in with better opposition so why should I go with Eubank Jnr?

'But I do believe he's improving and I just see the second half of the fight swinging in his favour. But I could look very silly.'

Billy Joe Saunders: 'With the Eubanks, if you get caught up in their hype, their bravado, that they're great and you're nobody and not on their level then that can affect you. If George can block that side out... he can win.

'Eubank is an extremely good fighter (but) he can't handle a good boxer so if Groves boxes him, he'll win, if he goes in and gets careless, he'll get beat.'

James DeGale: 'I think Groves will win, but it wouldn't surprise me if Eubank beats him. (Eubank) is a bum really because he hasn't boxed anyone. It's true what Groves says: he's Insta-famous, going off all sparring stories and his dad's name. He's a p****, an idiot and Groves will probably knock him out.'

Hard to disagree with Crolla...

Good to see DeGale is sitting on the fence......<laugh>

Not a classic by any means, neither are world class, Groves just grabbed any time Eubank got close and Eubank didn't have anywhere near the skills to trouble Groves.

Groves experience showed massively

Wasn’t the second one a knock down in the tenth though? (Might have been me seeing it wrong as ended up watching huddled round Mrs Tash’s phone)

Disappointed with the fight, especially those early rounds as Eubank decided to stand off his opponent and let him dictate the pace. The early cut didn't help, but Groves experience and ring craft made Eubank look exactly what he is,a very good and exciting middleweight who needs a new management team behind him now Imo.
