Proud over the lads.....:emoticon-0115-inlov
Definition of a true TEAM. We haven't got any stars, but they work together.
Zlatan this.....Whatabout Zlatan? Maybe Zlatan......Don't need him.

France & Netherlands in the qualifiers.
Netherlands - Knocked the fock out, France, beaten at home and we had them shook away.

Get bloody Italy in the playoff. We don't concede and knock the drama queens out :emoticon-0128-hi:

Then we get Germany, Mexico, South Korea in the group, lucky if we get the 2nd place behind ze Germans.

We win the bloody group <cracker>:emoticon-0167-beer:
Don't really care who we get in the next game. I reckon we can rattle every team on a good day <party>

Well done Sweden and Mexico too! Special thanks to South Koreans who just played football to win in their last game. It was most interesting group IMO.

The Yanks, despite not being at the World Cup, rather surprisingly, have bought the second highest number of tickets.

My cousin goes to New York Red Bulls where they have a section where standing and singing is not only encouraged people who buy tickets for that area are told not to complain about people standing or blocking their view as they have been forewarned. Some grounds, in litigation mad, health and safety conscious Anerica, even have designated areas where you can set off flares. Can't see that happening here any time soon.
I think the sale of tickets like that is great...however America really is most definitely not very health and safety conscious

Love the Prossy like heading from Hummels
Summer up the their finishing on the day . The were lethargic and pedestrian . People have said about giving the opposing side a bung , however it looked like Germany had taken a large one at this world cup .

it's a well known fact that russian linesmen are some of the best in the world, although the germans never quite agreed with the concensus.

Never noticed any Russian linesman. There was a good one from Aberbaizan iin 1966 that I remember.

The South Korean team had eggs thrown at them at the airport when they got home. Bit harsh.

Madness.

Who was it who said "Some people believe football is a matter of life and death. I am very disappointed with that attitude. I can assure you it is much, much more important than that." Probably Chazz, but really there needs to be some perspective.
