Everyday i excitedly go to the bbc football page then to the offish then to here.and its always the same..deadly silence or rumour!.this situation that these ego-centric goons that are putting us through is getting me down.I thought(foolishly) that at the end of last season that it couldnt become any worse! Winning the Title was so anti-climatic and was personally spoilt by the points deduction scenario, that i didnt enjoy it as I should have done..But i will still keep looking and hope that the Mittals will improve their bid and oust the two carbunkles that are holding us back..Onwards and upwards, coyrsssssss!

Yep, I'm the same, some days there's speculation on a new name and it's glass half full time, but most days it's glass half empty and worse still the bottle is empty as well...

Still, we have to sign someone, anyone, before too long...

Times running short, all the decent players we have been linked with are turning us down.Neils silence is almost deafening, which must be torture for him!

I see Pete from WATRB is hinting big things are in the pipeline and all will be revealed within the next week.

I've been hearing this all summer, hopefully something will give.... and soon. ;)

Must be the f*cking longest pipeline in the world...

;)

Good things do come to those who wait tho Super, remember we had to wait till a week before season started to get our Premier signing last season, we're all frustrated with the current situation atm but it is'nt kick off time yet and fingers crossed it will all be rosey come the Bolton game :)

Groundhog day! Excellent thread title deano, very appropriate except I can't remember Bill Murray's character having to trudge through the kind of dross we're getting day after day after day after day after day after day after day after day after day after day after day after day after day after day after day after day after day...
