Ground expansion

The FA have told Chavbus they will have to play at Fulham, if they want to rebuild the Bridge.

The reason was Wembley is far to big for them and they would not fill the bottom tier and it would be embarrassing for the FA to have a stadium only a 3rd full <ok>

This is all true ish

Sounds like the NIMBYs are blocking any move to Twickers. Probably for the best though.

Harsh on Millwall, a well respected club with a kind and caring fan base. To lump them together with some of footballs worst, its at best, unfair.

Wow....an actual Deltmown!!
I take the piss outta people who claim Deltmown.....but I think we might actually have one on our hands.

Lets just clear up a couple of things:

1) Not a yank, never even been to America. Just watch a lot of American TV (so unusual these days). Family from Battersea, raised in Bletchley, a sub town of Milton Keynes (home of the mighty dons)
What MiR is alluding to is that I called some people douche bag a few times, so I am American, oh and I used to have a coat like the guy from Angel (an American TV show) and my hair like his. I must have mentioned this years ago on here and MiR seems to have added it to the dossier he keeps on me.

2) The violence thing. I did a post about some Everton fans getting arrested in France I think it was and made a joke about it, then an hour later, it turned out one of the fans was hit by a tear gas cannister by the police and was seriously injured. This was unknown to me at the time, and everyone else, (including the few Everton fans on this site) accepted my apology and I retracted the post. MiR decides to try and use this as a stick to beat me with from time to time when I call him out for talking ****. Again, straight into the Bodanki dossier.

Anyway, I banned him for being a douche nozzle on the Chelsea board and now he is "delting" to the max......I will get the ban lifted if you are going to go all Seppuku about it.

Having just read through this thread, I object to this term.

The Rudeboy of Commie land Roman Abramovich wants Stamford Bridge to be a cathedral of football with a 60K stadium.

Thats all very well but you need to teach your manager not to play anti football if you want to fill it <ok>

The name of the stadium will be called "Victoria Bus Terminal"

Jose getting sacked then.

No idea why clubs who cant sell out now, want to increase capacity so their grounds can look even more empty.

Clubs like Chelsea should be reducing capacity. Like Juventus and the milan clubs have/are doing.

Perhaps people who run football clubs know a bit more about business than armchair muppets? Just a thought....

Chelsea have sold out most of their Prem games for the last 15 years.

I can't remember the last Prem game that was not sold out in home areas. Maybe one or two in last decade

Sold out doesn't mean full right? Plenty of chav games have been empty in all competitions.

18000 in a champions league game. We havre friendly games with 50000 plus attending.

Even our youth team gets bigger gates than Chelsea have previously.

I struggle to understand why United fans care so much about our attendances or proposed ground expansion. It's not as if most of them actually go to games themselves and for a club apparently so insignificant to them, they seem to spend an increasing amount of time talking about us. <laugh>

Maybe it's because post Fergie they realise they are just another club and have come down to our level. <laugh>
